Highway Lights and James Turrell’s Come To Good

About Highway Lights
Highway Lights is cellist Sara Nelson (David Byrne, Austin Symphony) and synthesist Justin Sherburn (Montopolis, Okkervil River). Their performances have been called "stunning and transcendent" by the Austin Chronicle. Influenced by Brian Eno, Arvo Pärt, and Stars of the Lid, the music features sweeping cello solos and immersive drone sculptures.

Their most recent album, “A Space of Partial Illumination”, was composed as accompaniment to the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. The group performs the album in its entirety to relate the awe and wonder of that stellar event to audiences around the world.
