Spectrum Presents: Spectrum After Dark

Spectrum After Dark moves from Rossini’s high-wire Duetto for Cello and Bass, through the pastoral calm of Holst’s Terzetto, to Schubert’s Death and the Maiden—one of the most intense works in the string quartet repertoire.
This performance takes place after sunset, but you are invited to experience James Turrell’s Come To Good as as a prelude, followed by a pre-concert reception before the concert.

About Spectrum Chamber Music Society
Founded in 1986, Spectrum Chamber Music Society brings together musicians from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the broader North Texas music community to present chamber music in intimate settings throughout the community.
For 40 years, Spectrum has connected audiences and musicians through performances that celebrate both familiar masterpieces and lesser-known works.

About James Turrell's Come To Good
Come to Good is a permanent Skyspace installation designed by acclaimed light-and-space artist James Turrell.
During scheduled sunrise and sunset viewings, the retractable roof opens to the sky and subtle LED color sequences gently illuminate the interior dome.
The interplay between Turrell's programmed illumination and natural light creates an interpretive environment that shifts visitors' perception of color, sky, and space.
