K-2 Afterschool Storytime - Clay-tastic!

Prepare to get your hands dirty during our first K-2 Afterschool Storytime of the year! We'll be reading a fun story about clay friends and then creating our own clay friends to take home!

PLEASE GET A TICKET FOR EACH CHILD COMING (grown-ups do not need a ticket but we still love you)! We are maxing storytime at 24 and will have to turn away walk-ins if all tickets have been claimed.

The K-2 Afterschool Storytime allows us to reinforce what students in Hamilton County Schools are learning in the classroom, but in an out-of-school-time environment - that way the children don't realize they're still learning:) Each week will focus on different topics; even if one week focuses on Kindergarten, the stories and activities will apply to all ages/grades.

This program is open to all children, no matter what school/homeschool they attend and no matter their age, but it will be focused on Kindergarten through 2nd-grade learners. We hope that the parents/caregivers will also take part in the activity with their children and discover ways of supporting what they are learning in school.
