🎶 Free Taster session for: Group singing for beginners - A five week course Sept/Oct 26

This is a taster session for a five week introduction to group singing taking place on Monday evenings, 6 - 7.30 pm 28th September, and 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th Oct 6 -7.30 pm. We'll be meeting in maths room 21, Humphry Davy School - directions below.

Do you need help to find your voice and build confidence for community singing? Kelsey has years of experience of helping singers make a start and overcome barriers. This group is also for anyone who has had a break from singing and would like to refresh. It's always good to go back to basics!

If you'd like to bring singing into your life, why not come along to this taster session and give it a go to see how you feel.

In the five week course which follows we will:

• Have a lot of fun learning simple songs by ear and singing with others.
• Enjoy feel-good folk songs, a bit of pop, americana and plenty more...
• Be in a 'no judgement' space. Singing isn't easy for everyone!
• Explore your range to find where singing is most comfortable for you.
• Learn skills to 'open' your voice and improve tone.
• Learn tools to help with learning songs by ear.
• Sing in unison and simple harmony.

Directions: Enter through the school main gates and go through the new black gates. The maths building is a wooden clad one storey building on your left, and our room - room 21 is first on the right. Parking is available just inside the main gates to the right, or in the staff car park which is the next turning on left along Coombe road driving away from Pz.
