‘Aoife Doyle is up there with the best of them.’ ‘First class backing musicians...a high-quality debut album that will surely have a broad appeal,’ - The Irish Independent
Aoife Doyle is a singer, a songwriter, and a musician. Growing up in a musical family, Aoife has been singing from as far back as she can remember. Her songs are a blend of folk, soul, and jazz.
'Doyle’s own songs, insightful, music-full, believable songs about love and longing that strike a deeper note and give her pitch-perfect group plenty to work with, musically and spiritually.'
- The Irish Times
With a reputation as one of the Ireland's leading vocalists, Aoife Doyle has released two albums to date. Her first collection of original songs 'Clouds' was released in 2017 to critical acclaim.
'Aoife Doyle's first album of original music is seriously accomplished.....The subtle power of Doyle's beautiful, pliable voice makes this one of the finest Irish Jazz albums this year'
- The Sunday Times
Aoife has played at landmark venues and festivals throughout Ireland and shared a stage with SINEAD O'CONNOR, BAGATELLE, THE HARLEM GOSPEL CHOIR and ANUNA. Her music has had extensive radio play both at home and abroad.
Aoife Doyle's unique, expressive voice is equally at home with soul, folk, blues or jazz and can evoke memories of the sophisticated, velvet tones of Ella Fitzgerald, the earthy, sweet lyricism of Patsy Cline or the straight-up country clarity of Alison Krauss.
