Take space for you and join me for a whole day to welcome the first signs of spring, inside and out.
6 Feb 2027 | Chariclo, Gartenbantrick Farm, Gartocharn, near Balloch, G83 8SD
I’m excited to host this special yoga and wellbeing day retreat. We will gather in a beautiful retreat location with a view of Loch Lomond to mark Imbolc and the return of the light in the new year.
Imbolc is the Celtic festival that celebrates the first quiet signs of spring - the moment when the light begins to return and the inner flame starts to wake.
In this retreat, we will notice that transition within ourselves too through movement, rest, awareness, ritual and connection.
“Each seasonal transition is a rite of passage and is better shared.”
A whole day to slow down
One of the gifts of having a full day together is that there is no need to rush from one practice to the next.
We'll begin the morning with stillness and space for inner and outer reflection, before moving our bodies and energy with accessible yoga and stretching. There will also be time for creativity, conversation and connection.
At lunchtime, we'll share a simple vegetarian lunch, with time afterwards to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
The afternoon session will include nurturing and rejuvenating Restorative Yoga, before ending the day with a deeply restful Yoga Nidra guided relaxation.
And there will be space around all of this simply to be - to lounge on the sofas, enjoy a cup of tea, chat with others, step outside, take in the view or have some quiet time to yourself.

What to expect

Come as you are and leave with a little more space for what wants to grow in you as the year rebirths.
Is this retreat for me?
The day is suitable for all levels of yoga experience, including beginners. The yoga will be accessible and there will be alternative options to suit your body. You do need to be comfortable lying on the floor with plenty of supports and getting up and down from the floor.
With only 11 spaces available, this will be a small and intimate day retreat.

“Kerry has a rare gift for holding space and helping groups connect. You leave feeling both grounded and seen.”
“No matter what was going on, I left the sessions grateful, more relaxed and with a sense of joy at the connection with other like-minded women.”
