2024 Landscape Painting in Grangecon, County Wicklow

Painting the landscape with Kevin McSherry. This workshop is aimed at beginners to intermediates though you should have painted before as a little experience is needed. I'll be demonstrating as usual.

A chance to unwind in beautiful, friendly Grangecon in County Wicklow, where we will explore the village and surrounding beauty spots in the second workshop to be held here (The pictures are from class excursions to other locations). There's a wonderful pub in Grangecon where we can relax and have lunch. It's a chance to spend time in the fresh, clean air of gorgeous County Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, in good company and get some experience of painting landscapes en plein air.

Hopefully the weather will hold out but if not, the contingency plan will be to paint indoors in the superb school hall. I will demonstrate and guide you as the day goes on. Starts 10am and finishes at 4.30pm. 1 hour for lunch. See this page for more details.
