Kew Green Classical Music Festival is the inaugural edition of a summer series of live classical music concerts at St Anne’s Church, in the heart of Kew. Curated and directed by London-based pianist Mario Miralles, the festival showcases outstanding musicians alongside emerging talent, the festival presents three curated concerts, ranging from solo recital to piano quintet, alongside an evening of art song. Set within the intimate and atmospheric surroundings of St Anne’s Church, it invites the audience to gather and experience beautiful music on the summer evenings of 15th, 17th, and 18th July.
15th July– Piano Recital: Artistic Director Mario Miralles opens the festival with a piano recital featuring his own compositions alongside works by classical composers.
17th July– Chamber Music for Strings and Piano: Emerging talent from the Royal College of Music joins Mario Miralles for an evening of acclaimed chamber music, featuring Schubert’s Trout Quintet.
18th July- Voice and Piano Recital: Welsh Soprano Lisa Dafydd joins Mario Miralles for the last evening of the festival, performing beautiful Art Song Music from France, England, Wales and Spain.
