Created by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya, this evolving fog landscape invites visitors to slow down and enter a living environment in constant transformation. As fog drifts, dissolves, and reforms, moments of stillness, reflection, and gentle renewal emerge offering a quiet reconnection with nature’s rhythms.

Richard Long transforms his journeys into works of art.

Walking is a process and an artwork at the same time. In 2000, the land art artist would say: “My intention was to make a new art which was also a new way of walking: walking as art.”

The perfect circle of slate slabs placed on a plateau in Khao Yai Art Forest delivers a simple and powerful open interpretation of Infinity. The panoramic point of view over the rolling hills and the canopy echoes the notion of limitless space.

This almost Buddhist piece invites a meditation on life as a succession of repetitive yet changing cycles and never-ending loops of beginnings and endings. This peaceful circle of stones hints to the earthling dimension versus the mineral timeline. What is the lifetime of a human being compared to the millions of years and precise chemical reactions necessary to create stones and minerals. The circle of slate confronts the geological time versus the earthling time.

Discover lunch and dinner courses thoughtfully curated according to the diner’s elemental constitution—Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Created by Chef Wuttisak and his team, each menu celebrates seasonal local ingredients, including produce harvested from Khao Yai Art Forest. Rooted in local wisdom and culinary craftsmanship, these carefully composed courses offer not only a memorable dining experience, but also dishes designed to harmonize with your individual element.

This package includes admission and a lunch course.
Note: Menus are chef-curated and may be adjusted according to seasonal availability to reflect the finest flavors of each period.

Inspired by the concept of “Soil, roots, fermentation, and the depth of umami—the memory of earth in summer heat,” this menu is designed to provide grounding and restoration, easing feelings of tiredness, heaviness, and drowsiness through craving warm, comforting dishes.

Inspired by the concept of “Flow of Summer water—clarity, softness, fermentation, and reflection,” this menu offers cleansing and cooling, helping to relieve overheating, reduce stress, and craving freshness and lightness.

the Air Element

Inspired by the concept of “Air as breath of summer—aroma, fermentation, foam, petals, and invisible movement,” this menu presents lightness and clarity intended to ease scattered thoughts, overthinking, unfocused, and craving lightness.

This schedule is a suggested itinerary based on meal times and the limited viewing schedule of the Fog Forest installation (approximately 10 minutes per session). Visitors may choose either the morning or afternoon Fog Forest session and adjust other activities as they wish, or contact us in advance for assistance.

Forest Print
A complimentary eco-print workshop inviting visitors to connect with nature through hands-on making, using natural materials and simple processes inspired by the surrounding landscape. The workshop operates in alignment with Khao Yai Art Forest’s opening hours, and walk-ins are welcome.

Group Admission Rate
Groups of 10 guests or more are eligible for a special Full Site Admission rate of THB 400 per person.

Dining Discount
Groups participating in our Lunch or Dinner Experience receive a 10% discount on the total dining package.

• Pets are not permitted.
• Tripods and drones are not allowed on site.

• Smoking is prohibited throughout the site.
