Kids Plant Trees is a not-for-profit with a mission to help children and nature thrive together in South Yorkshire and beyond! To date we’ve planted over 24,300 trees, improving 32 school grounds and 24 public spaces for nature and people. Prioritising areas with higher deprivation and/or less green space, we work with a wide range of partner organisations to give more children (and their grown-ups) the opportunity to get outside, improve green spaces and learn how to help nature on their doorstep. In 2026, we're also setting up a community tree nursery for South Yorkshire, to grow trees from locally collected seeds and eventually plant them across the region.
