Circular Exhibitions
Tue 6 Aug 2024 18:00 - 20:00 CEST
Online, Zoom
Description
One of the most wasteful practices in museums is the temporary exhibition. From new walls and paint to pedestals and display cases, so many materials are built and then discarded for 6 month shows. We aren’t going to stop making exhibitions - so how can we make them without making waste?
This session will apply the principles of circular economy to exhibitions - from planning and design to building, execution, and communication. Join your colleagues to see examples and to build your own sustainable circular exhibition.
