KIN is Edinburgh's talk series that inspires and celebrates creativity in all its forms.
KIN hosts a fantastic line up of speakers who will share the highs and lows of their creative journeys, leaving you on a positive note to take home to your own creativity.
We're delighted to be back for our fourth edition of KIN, to celebrate our first birthday. This time, the theme is community.
This is open to anyone who feels like a creative - some, all or just a little of the time. This might be in a job, a hobby, or in another area of your life. The event is to inspire people, to help them in their own practice, and to connect people across the city.
Our speakers are:
- Nadira Tucker from Invisible Cities who help socially isolated people become tour guides in their home cities.
- Martin Boath, Creative Director at the wonderful Imaginary Friends and founder of Curio which was a big source of inspiration for KIN.
- Hazel Johnson from Hidden Door festival which brings unused spaces to life.
- Oladimeji Ajegbile, host of "Figuring Life Out" and also runs an amazing Instagram channel of cycling with his little boy which has 1.5m followers.
KIN is a creative talk series brought to you by Alex Porter-Currie, Producer at High Tide and Emily Fraser, Design Director at Lane, sponsored by Bright Red Triangle & Lane Agency.
