History Alumni Lecture with Professor David Carpenter.

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s History Department Alumni Lecture, which will be taking place at 6.30 pm Wednesday 10 June. Our lecturer this year is Professor David Carpenter, one of the most eminent medieval historians in the country, whose riveting lectures many of you may well remember from your own time at King’s. You may have read in the national press about the topic of his lecture, which is titled ‘Fake or Fortune? How I discovered a hitherto unknown original of Magna Carta in the archives of the Harvard Law School’.

The lecture will take place in the Safra Lecture Theatre (King’s Building: enter through the main Strand entrance). Before the main lecture we will briefly update your on our departmental news, and following it we invite you to join us for a drinks reception in the History Department open space on the eighth floor of the Strand Building.

Alumni details will be passed onto the Alumni Relations team, who will hold your details to personalise your alumni supporter experience.
