Join Nigel for a fantastic day of block printing on fabric

You don't need to be an artist to enjoy Indian Block Printing! In this relaxed session, you will learn how easy it is to create wonderful images on a range of fabric items such as T towels, aprons, napkins, table runners, bags etc. using traditional hand carved Indian wood blocks and fabric paints.

Nigel has a wonderful collection of Indian wood blocks for you to choose from, and you won't believe how simple it is to get some really fantastic results!

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, whether you have printed before or not. Nigel will bring lots of ideas and samples to help you get started and they will be on hand throughout the day to guide you through the process, from start to finish.

There is an additional cost of £7 for materials payable in cash to the tutor on the day. This includes everything you need to make prints, plus a bag or tea towel. Additional items will be available to buy at a small cost.

Please bring: Anything you would like to make prints on or you can purchase items from Nigel. Apron or wear old clothes.

Windows in all rooms will be opened to improve circulation so you may want to bring an extra layer of clothing such as a light jumper or cardigan.

Nigel Ginley creates, exhibits and sells a range of unique block craft items. He is highly experienced in a variety of different craft mediums.

He is a familiar face at Kingshill House as a Trustee.

There are plenty of parking spaces on site. (Not always guaranteed during busy times)

Kingshill House reserves the right to cancel a course, but if this happens, we will give you as much notice as possible and will always look to reschedule the workshop to a future date.

If we have to reschedule a workshop …

During the COVID 19 crisis we have had to postpone and reschedule workshops for a future date.

Where we have had to re-schedule a workshop due to circumstances beyond our control we will transfer your booking to the new date.

If this date is not convenient, we will be happy to give you a credit note which can be used for a future workshop/class.

Refunds will only be made at our discretion subject to each individuals application.
