Live Telling of the Odyssey
Live Telling of the Odyssey

Join us for the first ever KIN+KEN live Telling!
We start with a telling of The Odyssey, as a scene from Homer's epic is shared in the foreword of Times Long Told to introduce poor frustrated Hecataeus of Miletus, the Father of Geography', who was trying to make logical sense of Homer's epic myth.
We're gathering online for this experiment with how Tellings will work
During the session, we'll hear a telling of the tale, then break into small groups to reflect on it's resonance with these strange times before gathering en-mass to see if it helps make sense of the moment.
The programme looks like this, which some might notice has more than a hint of the Spiral about it:
- Greeting our Kin
- Telling the myth
- Discussing the stories
- Listening for patterns
- Letting the stories in
- Going forth
Afterwards, I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
