Codetta Final Fundraiser

Join Kismet theatre company for an evening of 2010s-2000s pop music, nostalgia, and songs from our hit show, Codetta, with proceeds going towards our run at Edinburgh Fringe 2026.

Kismet is a new touring theatre company based in Bristol and the South West. Comprising of young, emerging and exciting talent, our company is fresh from training with The Wardrobe Ensemble, one of the most renowned theatre companies in the country.

The musical term ‘codetta’ translates as a brief and transitional ending. The perfect description of where childhood and adulthood intersect. Codetta is a show about growing up, but without the cliches. Told through a Greek chorus of popstars, this is merely one part in one girl’s story. Our protagonist grapples with an apocalypse of uncertainty, change, and self-possessed power, in which
nothing is predictable.

We drew on our personal experiences of girlhood, whatever that means, to create a fantastical, musical world that takes the coming-of-age genre for a spin. This show is emotional, contemporary, and restless. With a hand from a lot of sparkle and original songs, we hope Codetta will stay with audiences for a long, long time.

So come along to the beautiful Sorelle in Dorset, where one of our members currently works as a chef in the kitchen! It is sure to be a lovely evening, including two sets of acoustic music by the cast.
