CDG visit to Nottingham University

We are excited to announce the date for the Co-op Dairy Group’s visit to Centre for Dairy Science Innovation at Nottingham University

Date: 7^th May 2025 Time 10.30 till 2.30 (lunch provided)

We are aware that this date may clash with silage time for some farms but given the geographical spread of the group it challenging to find a date that works for all areas.

Topics that we will be covering on the day will include:

• Farm walk. lead by the Farm Manager who has a huge amount of experience of integrating technology into a working farm
• An update on the latest housing and welfare research
• A workshop on how Artificial intelligence and computer vision can fit into dairy farms
• A look at how computer vision is been used on farm for cow comfort
