Since 1961, the Kittitas County Historical Museum collects, preserves, and shares the history, heritage, and culture of Kittitas County. The Museum is housed in the historic Cadwell Building in Downtown Ellensburg where it provides many exhibits for the public to enjoy, which reflect on the diverse history of the people and communities that call the area home – since time immemorial to present day. It also provides numerous programs, events, and activities for all ages. The Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and admission to the Museum is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
Rules on Donations and Cancellations:
All events (and any donations received) go to support the ongoing efforts of the Kittitas County Historical Museum. Donations are optional and can be zeroed out if needed. Donations can also be made while onsite or through our website at KCHM.org. Please note, the event schedule is subject to change. Any donations received through Ticket Tailor (this website) for a no-cost (free) event that is postponed and/or cancelled will not be refunded unless expressly requested by the donor. Any amounts requested for refund (for tickets, donations) will be transacted and refunded through original payment method.
Those wishing to cancel their registrations for an event with a registration fee must contact the Museum at least 48-hours in advance of the event to be considered for a refund.
