Friday the 13th The Day of The GoddessFumbally Stables, D8.
Before patriarchy put its mark on Friday the 13th, it was celebrated as The Day of The Goddess
A day to honour the divine feminine within us all.
The Day of the Goddess is deeply connected to the great mystery and magic of menstruation. None of us would be here without magic blood. Women and people who menstruated where seen as sacred, a creatrix, womb shamans, deeply connected to the spirit world with the ability to communicate and journey into deeper realms.
Why did they taint Friday the 13th?
The monks where in charge of the calendar and if 13 moon cycles presented in that year it was a burden for them while planning a 12 month calendar.
MaryMagdalene was the 13th apostle. The closest to Jesus and as some stories say, Mary Magdalene and Jesus shared a tantric relationship, which brought them closer to the divine but also each other.
Mary Magdalene was shamed out of resentment and so the number 13 was associated with her and a negative relationship with 13.
Before the rise in patriarchy, The Feminine, The Goddess, Shakti Creation & Birth, was held in such high regard of its power and ability.
Through fear, war, religion, greed, ego and control began the rise in patriarchy and the slandering of feminine energy, womens bodies, female bodily functions and anatomy like menstruation & menopause, #cvnt, #sexuality, #sensuality, the power of our cycle, the wisdom of the chrone, the sovereignty of the #womb, The Witch, The Bitch, The #Pvssy have all been shamed.
This is a snippet into the whys of why #Fridaythe13th lost its love for the feminine and #female adoration.
By Reclaiming, restoring and reframing the shadows of the above not only do we heal the wounded feminine, but the wounded masculine within us all can soften to the harshness patriarchal and misogynistic conditioning lead us all to believe was the way and the only way.
I’m thrilled to finally share this beautiful offering after many years of development, exploration and making peace with the fear we’ve been lead to believe was truth.
