Summer Grounding Circle is a gentle online creative wellness group designed to help participants find calm, connection, and balance during the busy summer months. Through simple art-making, reflection, and supportive community, participants are invited to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore creative practices that support wellbeing.
Each session includes a brief grounding activity, a guided art invitation, optional reflection and sharing, and a gentle closing. Activities are designed to be accessible for all experience levels. No artistic skill or previous art experience is required.
Participants may attend a single session or the entire series. Each session is designed as a standalone experience and does not require attendance at previous sessions.

Facilitator

Kate Latour offers relational, arts-based experiences that support reflection, self-expression, and connection through the creative process. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that creativity can help people explore experiences that are not always easy to put into words.
Working in a participant-centred, non-prescriptive way, Kate invites individuals to engage with simple art materials at their own pace, with no art experience required. She has experience facilitating groups and working with people navigating life transitions, stress, grief, identity exploration, burnout, and personal growth.
Kate is committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces and has experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent people, and diverse communities. Her goal is to foster environments where participants feel welcomed, respected, and free to engage in meaningful ways.
