A new start is always tempting but we are often held back by fear. Fear of change: fear of the future: fear of fear itself. Fear freezes us even though we long to live more fulfilled, happy and meaningful lives. It holds us back and makes us dissatisfied with ourselves. We all want to learn fresh habits, attitudes and outlooks but how do we break out of the old ones?
So why not begin the year by shaking off some old mental habits and learn positive mental states that are reliable, stable and uplifting. We can then be confident of finding more peace, stability and happiness in our lives – and remaining fearless no matter what 2021 throws at us. We can even surprise ourselves. All we have to do is make some inner adjustments.
