It's almost easy these days to look at the world around us and feel depressed about the future. We may even have truly depressive feelings which overwhelm us and leave us seemingly unable to enjoy life. Hurt from past events or fearful of the future, we can feel trapped in an unhappy present.
However, there are many meditations we can use to understand the reality of our situation and transform our sadness into joy. During this half-day course we will discover how our perspectives and views can be tainted leading us to unhappy states of mind, and learn fresh realistic approaches to understanding ourselves and our world, freeing us from dejection, fear and unhappiness.
Using straightforward techniques, all of us can gradually transform our lives with confidence in our ability to overcome our depressed feelings. This event will provide us with both the understanding and practical tools we need to take with us and use.
Everyone is welcome, suitable for beginners and those with experience of meditation.
