International Temples Day - Meditation & Lunch at KMC Plymouth

On the first Saturday in November Kadampa centres worldwide celebrate the International Temples Project – the project which is bringing modern Kadampa Buddhist Temples to people across the globe. You can read more about the project below.

So, on this special day everyone is invited to join us to watch a short film about the Temples Project and engage in the meditative, Prayers for World Peace, which include a guided meditations and which are suitable for everyone; so no previous experience is needed.

After the meditation session we will be providing a simple fixed-choice homemade main course lunch (vegan) with a fruit based dessert! It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage in something meaningful with friends old and new. Everyone is welcome and so, please do bring along friends and family. Children are welcome.

This event is limited to 20 places for lunch and once those tickets sell out, you will be able to buy a ticket without lunch provided.

Schedule

• 11am – Short Film about the International Temples Project 
• 11.45am - Prayers for World Peace with guided mediation 
• 1pm - Vegetarian lunch served in the World Peace Café and socialising! 

Our World Peace Café will also be serving hot and cold drinks, delicious home-made cakes and a variety of snacks.

Fees

Must be booked in advance. Only 20 lunch tickets are available:

• Event + Lunch Ticket: £15

Once all lunch tickets are sold-out, booking will open to purchase an event only ticket without lunch:

• Event Only (NO Lunch Ticket): £5 (only available to purchase when all lunch tickets have sold out)
