Knight Club: A Friendly Family Chess Meet Up

Knight Club is a family friendly chess club where kids and their grown ups can play chess in a friendly, fun, supportive space.
We welcome all levels - from total beginner to aspiring grand masters! You don't need to be able to play chess in order to attend. Just come along and we will show you the basics!
Knight Club meets in the Community Room at Railway Gardens in Splott. It's a cosy, accessible space with plenty of outdoor space to stretch your legs if you need a break, and there's on-street parking right outside the gates.
Here's some photos from our previous sessions:

Grown ups need to stay for the whole session, and we love to see them getting involved in games with the kids. I'm pretty sure the kids go easy on them though. Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits provided.
To help cover our running costs tickets include a voluntary donation, but if you can't afford to donate at the moment don't worry as we always have the option of free tickets.
Who am I? My name is Leo, I have an 8 and 10 year old who love to play chess! I'm not an expert or a chess coach but I enjoy finding fun ways for kids to enjoy the game and improve their skills and confidence.
When you get tickets for Knight Club you'll automatically be added to our mailing list to receive updates on future sessions. You can easily unsubscribe at any time if you change your mind, and your email address will never be shared with anyone else.
