Meet Tavis Bailey:
I began my sales career in 2015 upon graduating from the University of Tennessee and pursing my dream of making the 2016 Olympic team. During this time, I started by calling on, and negotiating $25k exterior signage projects to Best Western, Marriott, and Choice Hotel owners across the nation. After 2 years, and roughly 10 million dollars in sales, I was told that in order to be a true sales executive I needed face to face, B2B sales. I left the signage industry, in pursuit of my master’s degree in sales. I pursued a career at Cintas in order to gain the experience, repetition, and training that no business school could ever provide. While at Cintas, I shinned as rookie, and eventually made my way to Team captain. In this position I trained new reps and evaluated interviewees during their on-job interviews.
During my time at Cintas, I had to the opportunity to learn and master the new business sales process, along with other presentation tools such as the MEET process and framework for create new business. I was able to take these skills back to the signage industry where I’ve worked for two different companies as a National Sales Executive responsible for millions of dollars in new business growth. I currently work for Stratus Unlimited, a national signage and construction firm focused on construction, signage, and interior branding projects for national healthcare, retail, financial and industrial clients.
In my spare time, my wife and I lead Printing Image. We are a small print, graphics and marketing business that is helping clients with their digital, physical, and branding needs. We can operate as a full one stop shop, or just a printer based on the client. My wife Cassie runs the business and manages the day to day, while I help her drive sales, and create value for new clients.”
