Women in Entrepreneurship (WiE) is a local group committed to empowering women in business through community and connection.

Started in 2016, Women in Entrepreneurship (WiE) is a community of entrepreneurs, supporters, and advocates that meetup to share stories, tips, and advice for any woman either running a business or wanting to start one.

Our group meets once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

June 2025 Event:

Networking in the Park! Co-Hosted event with Rising Tide Society

Join us on Tuesday, June 10th at Lakeshore Park! This month's meeting will look a little different - we're co-hosting a networking event with Rising Tide Society. 

Women in Entrepreneurship Knoxville (WiE) is a vibrant community of nearly 3,700 women entrepreneurs who gather monthly to share, learn, and support one another through every stage of business. Hosted by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, WiE offers a warm, welcoming space for connection and inspiration!

Rising Tide Society is a global community of creative entrepreneurs who believe in community over competition. Founded in a living room in Maryland in 2015, RTS has grown into a movement of 75,000+ members and local chapters around the world. Each month, Rising Tide chapters host free meetups designed to help small business owners connect, grow, and feel less alone in the hustle.

So on Tuesday, June 10 at 12pm, we’re joining forces at Lakeshore for a casual, feel-good meet-up that’s all about fun and community.

We will also have a guest speaker: Kimberly O'Neil, from Modern Day SAHM, sharing about her passion for supporting mothers, resources for similar founders, and how she's turned that passion into a growing business!

Bring your own lunch, and we'll see you there! We will be meeting at the Marble Pavilion in Lakeshore Park.
