Coming Back to Your Rhythm: Learn to Work With Your Body's Natural Energy Cycles Instead of Against Them

Join us on Tuesday, July 14th for our monthly Women in Entrepreneurship Meeting! We'll be meeting at 9am at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center office.

Session Description:

Have you felt that 3 PM crash when your brain won't cooperate? Or the late-night surge of energy right when you should be winding down? There's a reason this keeps happening. Ancient wisdom teaches us that energy moves through the day in rhythms. When you understand how your body responds to these changes, you can start working with them instead of against them.

In this session, Amberly will share an Ayurvedic approach that maps energy to the rhythms of the day and show you how to use it to build a routine that doesn't cost you your health. She'll talk about why certain times of day are better for deep work, meetings, or rest. You'll learn how to read your body's signals instead of pushing through them, plus a few simple tools to reset your nervous system when you're overwhelmed. She'll also share why imperfect practice is more sustainable than perfect routines.

We'll close with a gentle seated movement and breathing practice you can do at your desk. No yoga mat required.

Amberly Kelley-Dotson is the founder of Amble Wellbeing, an Ayurvedic health counseling and therapeutic yoga practice in Knoxville, TN. With 10 years of teaching experience, a 500-hour certification in Foundations for Teaching and Yoga Therapy (American Viniyoga Institute, 2020), and an 890-hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification (Joyful Belly, 2025), Amberly specializes in helping clients connect the dots between their symptoms from digestion and hormones to anxiety, energy, and sleep so they can address root causes instead of managing one thing at a time.

Her 'imperfect practice' philosophy resonates with clients who are tired of all-or-nothing wellness advice. She believes in practicality and sustainability, as well as putting ancient tools into the context of our day-to-day lives. Beyond 1:1 work, she leads seasonal group programs, workshops, and speaks on topics like nervous system regulation, anxiety, digestion, and hormone balance.

With a background in psychology and recreation therapy, Amberly brings a compassionate, creative lens to building a practice that honors both care and sustainability.
