October 2026 Event:

Paid Media: What Works, What Doesn’t, and How to Use Your Ad Budget Most Effectively for Your Business

Join us on Tuesday, July 14th for our monthly Women in Entrepreneurship Meeting! We'll be meeting at KEC for a conversation with Cory Dickson, of Dickson Media & Events, about Paid Media!

Ready to get more out of your social media advertising budget? This Women in Entrepreneurship session will break down the basics of running effective paid ads on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

We’ll cover how to determine when paid ads make sense for your business, choose the right campaign objective and audience, set a realistic budget, and create ads that encourage action. We’ll also look at the strategy behind a successful campaign, including your message, offer, organic content, landing experience and numbers that really matter. We’ll also talk through common ad mistakes and how to test and adjust campaigns without throwing money at what isn’t working.

If you are interested in guest speaking or sponsoring a future breakfast for WiE, please get in touch!
