Koala Bar (SE) + Haver – Live @ Nice N Sleazy

Koala Bar

Step into the world of Koala Bar, where gigs feel somewhere between a fever dream, a late-night film score, and a dancefloor confession. Their sets move effortlessly from pulse-heavy grooves to hushed, intimate moments — all stitched together with analogue synths, drum machines, layered harmonies, and the occasional ghost of Charlie Chaplin lurking in the background.

With one foot in vintage cinema and the other deep in the woods, they build immersive soundscapes drenched in atmosphere, emotion, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. Add hypnotic visuals, shifting lights, and carefully woven samples, and a Koala Bar show becomes less of a concert and more of a beautifully strange place to disappear into for a while.

“The first moments of Ingest ≈ Digest took my breath away — every song after that slowly gave it back in frozen spoonfuls. As the tones and textures of Koala Bar unfolded, something shifted: part fever dream, part revelation, entirely immersive.” — Freddie Mckee, TJPL News

Support: Haver

Haver are a four-piece alternative rock band from Stirling, combining soaring melodies, atmospheric guitars and an experimental edge inspired by Coldplay, Keane and Radiohead. Since forming in 2023, they’ve quickly made their mark on the Scottish music scene, playing landmark venues including King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and selling out their own headline show at SWG3. Following the release of their debut single Celestial and their debut EP in 2025, Haver continue to build momentum as one of Scotland’s most promising emerging alternative rock bands.

“‘Celestial’, by Haver, is brilliant - one of my favourite singles of the last year.” Billy Sloan, BBC Radio Scotland and legendary Scottish music journalist.
