Damp stories - art and conversation workshop

Join artist, plumber and retrofit consultant, Sovay Berriman, for a free, creative and conversational workshop exploring the topic 'damp'.

This unique and insightful art workshop is designed to allow a gentle and creative opportunity to explore the theme of living with damp. We will make artworks using collage, paint and drawing materials, and share conversation around our experiences.

Touching on themes of precarious housing, environmental impacts on housing stock, and financial and climate-crisis factors, this event is primarily aimed at adults, but is open to everyone.

This is the first in a series of workshops that are part of Sovay's local research into living with damp. It is vital that we all are able to contribute to the often confusing conversations about how we heat our homes, how we maintain good indoor air quality, and how we increase our energy efficiency.
