Musical Discovery Camp at Lamp House Music

Musical Discovery Camp at Lamp House Music

We’re really looking forward to welcoming some of our younger musicians for a few mornings of music-making this half term.

Running from 10am–12pm each day, our Early Musicianship Camp will be full of musical games, movement, listening activities and plenty of opportunities to make music together.

The idea is simple: to help children build strong musical foundations while having fun and feeling part of a group.

We’ll be working on rhythm, listening, coordination and musical confidence through games and practical activities — and the children will also get the chance to discover and explore a variety of musical instruments along the way.

It’s a lovely opportunity for children who are already showing an interest in music, as well as those who are just beginning to discover it.

Most importantly, we want the children to leave having made new friends, grown in confidence and feeling excited about making music.
