On December 5, 2026 Kulture Rich Events is presenting The Houston Renaissance, A celebration of black creativity and resilience!
✨Theme: This theme was inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and as you may know, The Harlem Renaissance was not only artists from Harlem, but many artists from the South had migrated to Harlem as well! With this event, we will recapture that magic and reignite that spark in our community! The atmosphere will be vintage, black and white, and full of artistic expression!
🎷Entertainment: At this event we are encouraging all types of artforms to perform from poets, to musicians, to skits, and live painting alongside our resident DJ and saxophone player Stramango! Jagged Hanger is coming back for another amazing fashion show and her designs will be adorned with accessories handmade by Chioma's Charm. The first 25 guests who arrive will receive a free glass of Pur Noire wine, and Sipsies Mobile Mixology is coming back to mix up some signature cocktails for the night! As always, we are here to emphasize the importance of circulating the black dollar, so we are very excited to have over 10 black owned vendors to sip and shop with throughout the night. This event is close to the holidays, so it should be a great time for shopping.
