Rights and Wrongs: Women Offenders in the Criminal Justice System  is a public meeting organised by Labour Women's Declaration Scotland to mark International Women's Day.

What are the issues facing women offenders in the criminal justice system? How does a system designed for men support women? How do women end up caught up in the criminal justice system?

We want to see a criminal justice system which can better support women within it and prevent more women being caught up in it. Come along to join in the discussion

Speakers:

Dr Clarie Ruthven O’Brien - Member of the Scottish Human Rights Commission

Rhona Hotchkiss - Ex-governor of Cornton Vale Women’s Prison

Linda Thompson - CEO Women’s Support Project

Pauline McNeill MSP

Chair: Johann Lamont ex Scottish Labour leader and MSP
