An evening of spectacular harmony, fabulous entertainment and feel-good music — all in aid of the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Join us for Hearts and Minds, a very special evening bringing together some of the region’s finest voices for a celebration of music, friendship and community.

Taking centre stage will be the award-winning Lace City Chorus, Nottinghamshire’s own dynamic women’s barbershop chorus, and the outstanding Grand Central Chorus, bringing their powerful male harmonies and infectious energy to the stage.

Introducing Lionheart Chorus

For Hearts and Minds, Grand Central Chorus has created a brand-new chorus especially for this event.

Lionheart Chorus brings singers together from across the local community for a unique performance celebrating the power of singing together. This is their first appearance — and we can’t wait to hear them!

Special guest quartet — Vida Loca

Adding even more sparkle to the evening will be Vida Loca, the fabulous award-winning female barbershop quartet.

Made up of four Lace City Chorus singers, Vida Loca are the 2024 Sweet Adelines Region 31 Quartet Champions and combine stunning four-part harmony with bags of personality and fun.

Your host — Mark Dennison

Our evening will be hosted by much-loved local presenter Mark Dennison.

A familiar voice and face to Nottingham audiences, Mark has enjoyed a long career in broadcasting and entertainment, currently presenting the breakfast show on new East Midlands radio station "Magna". He is also a familiar presence at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest’s long-standing matchday host.

With Mark at the microphone, expect plenty of warmth, wit and audience interaction throughout the evening!

Hearts and Minds is being held in support of two charities doing vital work for individuals and families across the UK — the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society.
