What is La Chaise?

La Chaise is a creative house, a workshop space, and a growing community project created to bring people closer through art, craft, design and shared experience.

It began from a very simple place: two friends, Paula and Lucia, wanting to build something meaningful together. A place where ideas could become objects, where people could gather around a table, where making something with your hands could become a way of slowing down, connecting, learning and remembering that creativity does not need to feel distant or intimidating.

La Chaise exists between the studio and the home, between art direction and craft, between community and personal expression. It is a space for workshops, handmade processes, visual culture, creative guidance and artistic collaboration. Through intimate gatherings, we explore materials such as paper, thread, textiles, clay, photography, flowers, natural pigments and found objects, always with the intention of creating something beautiful, personal and honest.

At its heart, La Chaise is about connection. Connection to the hands, to materials, to other people, to the place we are in, and to the quiet part of ourselves that still wants to play, experiment and make. Each workshop is designed as a soft entry point into creativity: accessible enough for anyone to join, but thoughtful enough to feel special.

Alongside the workshops, La Chaise also works as a creative house for selected commissions and art-led projects. We offer creative direction, visual storytelling, branding support, graphic design, photography, content creation, art direction, workshop concepts and handmade visual details for brands, artists, spaces, retreats, events and cultural projects.

Our approach is sensitive, artistic and strategic. We help shape ideas from their first intuition into a visual world — through moodboards, concepts, identity direction, campaigns, printed materials, social content, set details, creative experiences or bespoke workshops. We are interested in projects that carry feeling, atmosphere and purpose; projects that need more than a service, and are asking for a point of view.

La Chaise is not only about producing beautiful things. It is about creating a language around them. A way of seeing, gathering, making and sharing. A small creative house with a community soul.
