Easter Egg Hunt & Egg Dyeing Workshop

Enjoy an afternoon on our organic-certified regenerative farm: first an Easter Egg Hunt in one of our meadows for real heritage-breed eggs.
Then together with Artist Nina Zaech, current Artist in Residence at Highlands College, we’ll gather and use plants from the farm and natural dyes to create beautiful patterns on eggs. While the colours set, the children will craft a bunny or hen and a cozy nest to carry their handmade treasures home.

It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the farm and get creative together!

Tickets £30.00 per child (+ booking fee) - includes 4 organic heritage-breed eggs to dye and take home, and all crafting materials. Teas for accompanying adults.
Suitable for children aged 4 to 16 years. Support by a caregiver for younger children is recommended.

Optional add-on: Stay on for our late afternoon hand-milking of our cow, Razzle, at 5pm.   We run a ‘calf share’ system where our calf Gabriel stays with his mom, and we share Razzle’s milk with him. Meet Razzle and Gabriel, with the chance for a few people to try hand-milking!

About the artist:
Nina Zaech is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Switzerland, working with various mediums and techniques like linoprint, acrylics, drawing, natural dyeing and more. Most of her work is inspired by nature’s elements, especially rock formations and characteristics of mass in various senses. She loves minimal style, bold colours and especially working on wood.
Already as a child she has done Easter egg dyeing with natural material together with her mum. She is excited to share this very fun and fascinating way of dyeing eggs with young passionate crafters.
