A Celtic Tapestry: A Transatlantic Musical Evening
The USA's New Caledonia Folk Orchestra with The Lady Desart Choir, Heartland Harp Ensemble USA & Music Generation Waterford Harp Ensemble
Something genuinely special is coming to Kilkenny.
The New Caledonia Folk Orchestra and Heartland Harp Ensemble USA are travelling from the United States to perform here, and for one evening only, they'll share the stage with two of the Southeast's finest ensembles: Kilkenny's Lady Desart Choir and Music Generation Waterford Harp Ensemble.
The venue is St. Canice's Cathedral, one of Ireland's most magnificent medieval buildings, where music has echoed off ancient stone for over 800 years. There are few more iconic places in Ireland to experience live performance.
Expect an evening that moves between the rich warmth of choral voices, the soaring expressiveness of strings, and the timeless sound of harp and dulcimer — three distinct musical worlds, woven together into something you won't hear anywhere else.
This is a rare, once-off event. A transatlantic collaboration, live in your own backyard.
Tickets are limited — don't miss your chance to be there!
All ticket proceeds go directly towards travel and accommodation costs for The Lady Desart Choir's performance at Carnegie Hall, New York in January 2027.
