Couldn't make it to our Virtual Networking event?
No problem, now you can watch the recording!

Leaning into the 'new normal,' we hosted our first virtual networking event and were thrilled at its success. Feedback has been among the best I've received in 13 years of hosting this network.

Some people asked if the session was recorded. It was and we're now giving you the opportunity to relive the event, or tune in for the first time, if you weren't able to join us.

Video Price: £15.00 (+£3 for ticket management fees)

We had to cancel our lunch at Browns but the work of helping those in and out of prison needs to go on. As there are no admin costs, 100% of any funds raised by this video goes into our Start-Up Fund to help small charities stay afloat. Managing the pandemic in prisons puts enormous strain on those who live and work in our prisons, and those who care for them. So spare a thought for prison staff and for prisoners who, for sound medical reasons, are being locked up in small cells for 23 hours allowing an hour for a shower and exercise.

By purchasing this recording of our online session you'll be helping to change lives.Thank you.

Please note: You will be sent a link to the recording with a password following your purchase.

                                                  Our great speakers

Keynote speaker:  Dame Inga Beale, first woman CEO of Lloyds of London.  Topic: Leading in changing times.

A woman with no degree smashed through the glass ceiling of an organisation regarded until recently as one of the last bastions of the old hidebound, male-dominated City of London. But Dame Inga had another string to her bow – until her thirties, she played rugby with the Wasps women's team and nearly reached international level!

After working in senior global leadership roles in some of the world’s largest insurance companies, Dame Inga took over the helm of the 330-year-old City financial institution Lloyd’s of London in 2014. During her five year tenure, Dame Inga was responsible for accelerating Lloyd’s modernisation, embedding an innovation culture with the opening of the Lloyd’s Innovation Lab in the heart of the market, expanding the market’s global access across new, high-growth markets including China, Dubai, and India, and delivering Lloyd’s strongest capital position ever after paying out on the major US hurricanes in 2017. As the first female CEO, she played a critical role in challenging the traditional “boys club” culture, advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives across the global insurance sector, including the Dive In Festival – the only sector-wide diversity and inclusion festival in the world

A business leader with over three decades of experience in global financial services, Dame Inga was awarded a Damehood in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to the economy and for her contributions to driving the inclusion agenda for women.

Lloyd’s of London: a British and global institution has its roots in marine insurance and was founded by Edward Lloyd in London’s Tower Street in 1688. The only insurance market of its kind in the world, it is home to some £30 billion of premiums (revenues) on risks that span the globe. However, history and numbers are only part of the story. Dame Inga Beale, Lloyd’s first woman CEO in the insurance market’s 325 history, will tell her personal story of leading change – cultural and technological – which were necessary to bring this great institution into the truly modern age.   Having stepped down as CEO she is now into the next chapter of her life which is a portfolio of Non-Executive director roles.

(PS The CEO following Dame Inga is a man - so she is probably the first and last woman to hold that job!)
