Aspen Painting Workshop: Fall Is for Artists
Discover new ways to create expressive landscapes inspired by golden aspens, autumn colors, and Colorado mountains. Working from your own photographs or memories, you’ll learn to move beyond simply copying a scene and create a painting shaped by your personal experience. Each session includes a drawing meditation, instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of painting time for artists of all levels. This is a "criticism free" space, full of encouragement. Create paintings you are proud of. All levels of experience welcome.
We’ll explore:
- Color mixing, layering, and expressive mark-making
- Abstract composition principles with examples from well-known artists
- How to simplify aspens and mountain landscapes
What to Bring: Bring photographs from your outdoor adventures to transform into expressive paintings. |
