Music of John Dowland

Kayleen Sanchez, soprano, and Arash Noori, lute, perform music of the master English songwriter. Kayleen performs using Original Pronunciation, so you will hear not only the music, but the text, as Dowland’s listeners heard.

Exotic Instruments of the Baroque

This is perhaps your only chance to hear the hurdy-gurdy and musette, as well as rarely heard cornetto, chalumeau, and mandolin. Despite what you may think, these instruments were hugely popular in the day. Find out why!

La Follia celebrates J.S. Bach’s 342nd birthday

One performance only!

La Follia performs chamber music in homage to the incomparable master, including selections from The Musical Offering and The Art of Fugue, as well as the famous Organ Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

April 2-3, 2027
Hidden Gems of the Early Classical Era, with Anton Nel
Anton Nel performs on fortepiano with La Follia in works by Schroeter, Hummel, Hook, and J.C. Bach. As always with “Hidden Gems”, prepare to be delighted!

1. A subscription entitles you to entry to every concert in the La Follia season.  It does not include entry for any of your additional guests.
2. If you cannot attend a particular concert, you can transfer your subscription to a friend.  They just mention your name at the ticket desk.
3. Regardless of the concert date you purchase, you can use your ticket for EITHER performance
4. All purchasers will receive a video link to the performance roughly two weeks after the live performance, for personal use for 30 days.  So, you can attend in person, enjoy the recorded performance, or both.
