Jazz Wednesdays - Rickey Woodard

Jazz Wednesdays is Laguna Live!’s intimate concert series showcasing world-class musicians and an eclectic mix of jazz performances in the excellent performance setting of Ivan’z House at Mozambique in Laguna Beach.

Rickey Woodard is a killer, seasoned saxophonist whose rich, soulful sound has taken him around the world. He spent seven years touring with Ray Charles and is a longtime member of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. He has also performed and recorded with The Juggernauts, Jeannie and Jimmy Cheatham’s Sweet Baby Blues Band, and many other jazz greats, as well as recording extensively for Concord Records.
