Jazz Wednesdays - Brazilian Jazz with Téka & New Bossa

Jazz Wednesdays is Laguna Live!’s intimate concert series showcasing world-class musicians and an eclectic mix of jazz performances in the excellent performance setting of Ivan’z House at Mozambique in Laguna Beach. Bar and restaurant are available throughout the concert.

Brazilian-born singer and guitarist Téka blends the sensual rhythms and harmonies of her homeland with the sophistication and spontaneity of jazz. She has performed and recorded around the world, working with Brazilian legends including Hermeto Pascoal, Gilberto Gil, Flora Purim and Airto Moreira. Praised for her warm vocals and masterful guitar playing, Téka brings both elegance and an irresistible rhythmic energy to her music..
