LSA Pie Auction 2022
Wed 5 Oct 2022 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM EDT
Storefront Humber Inc., M8V 1C5
Description
LSA’s annual pie auction returns this October in person, and it is not to be missed for all pie lovers. You may wonder: do pies get auctioned on? How does that even work? Through the generosity of community members and local bakeries, we receive all kinds of sweet and savory pies plus other baked treats. Pie lovers then gather in a fundraising event to bid helping us raise funds for our community arts projects.
Bidding takes a natural cause with a start up price of the pie and then it increases in values of $5 or $10. You will get to view the pies donated before the auction starts and the auctioneer will reveal secret ingredients of the pies to know what you can bid on. Winning bidders get to serve the pies in their homes during the long weekend in the fall.
This pie auction merges the value of sharing a meal, connecting with neighbours, championing for local initiatives all in a single event. Your part as a pie donor or auction attendee goes a long way in giving LSA the resources we need to serve our community through the arts. You can pledge to donate a pie through this link and save your spot for the auction event.
