Discover the joy of chess through this weekly class! Presented in partnership with Story Time Chess, young players learn the fundamentals of the game through engaging stories, memorable characters, and interactive activities that make chess fun and accessible. Each lesson builds on previous weeks’ instruction, helping students develop strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence at the chessboard.

Open to the youngest chess learners and players of all experience levels. Classes are led by a bilingual instructor.

Recommended Age: 3-10
Children must be accompanied by a caretaker at all times. Tickets required for children only.

Workshop dates:
Saturdays, Sep 19 - Dec 5 (there will be no session on Nov 28)
12pm - 1pm

Join us at the Fall Open House on Sep 19. This first session is free to all. Reservations are required.
Note: If you reserve tickets for the free session and then are no longer able to attend, please notify the box office.

Non-Members: $220
