La Maida Project Experiential Workshop: Story & Purpose
Wed Mar 27, 2024 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM PDT
Online, Zoom
Description
To foster an understanding of purpose, it is important to have a coherent understanding of our past, present, and future, as a means to healing, resilience, and personal growth. In this workshop, we explore how the power of storytelling helps us make meaning of our lives, and connect to our larger purpose. This session will include large group discussions, break-out rooms, polls, a regulation activity, and informational content shares around La Maida Project’s key concepts.
Workshop capacity is limited.

About La Maida Project
La Maida Project is reframing how people understand mental health and well-being. At this point in history we are living in a state of tremendous disconnection from our bodies, our emotions, our relationships, our communities, and from nature. Current attitudes and solutions around mental health treat emotional states as chronic lifelong illnesses, as opposed to human experiences of disconnection and trauma from which we can recover, heal, and grow. We are bringing awareness, education, and programming to the public about solutions that support healing and promote health in community.
