Lamplight, Year One

Lamplight is a celebration that brings people together through immersive environments, quality music, inspiring art and performances, and engaging workshops. 

More than a music festival, Lamplight is focused on creating platforms for various communities so that participants can connect with likeminded people. Our mission is to create an accessible environment for people to connect, play, learn, celebrate and inspire.

We aim to support local musicians, artists, and vendors, to provide an unforgettable experience to all participants, and to stay true to our values of equality, safety, accessibility, integrity, creativity, and sustainability.

Join us for two days and two nights of creativity, wonderment, learning, music, and dancing. It’s a space to play and celebrate with your people, and a place to meet new friends and build community

This event runs from Saturday morning until Monday Morning. Overnight camping and parking at Laketown Ranch is included with all tickets. We encourage early arrival to take full advantage of all the beauty planned for the weekend.

Pricing

Early Bird: $190 - SOLD OUT
General Admission: $240
Gate: $280 (if available)

Early Entry (Friday, May 19th @ 4PM) – $40   (music on Friday runs from 6pm to midnight)
Youth (7-16): $80
Kids (0-6): Free

- Kids under 6 are free
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult upon entering the site and at all times on event grounds.
- Tickets include camping & vehicles.
- All tickets include a $2 Reconcilliation Fee as part of the transaction fees. This goes towards supporting our donation to Raven Trust

LOCATION

Laketown Ranch, Lake Cowichan, BC

This event takes place on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish and Island Hul'qumi'num Speaking peoples. If you are unfamiliar with the land and people, we encourage you to learn more about the territory and the tribes that have been stewards of the land since time immemorial. If you haven’t already, we encourage all non-Coast Salish attendees of this event to consider how they can visit this land in a good way.

In the spirit of reconciliation, a portion of our proceeds (regardless of profit margin) will go towards RAVEN Trust.

CAMPING

Overnight camping is included and we encourage people to come early to claim space, especially if you want to camp as a group. Camping is vehicle friendly.

Every human is equal and the bodily autonomy, physical, and emotional wellbeing of every participant matters. All interactions should be wanted from sitting close to hugs to sexy times. Make sure you get an enthusiastic yes and respect all no’s - verbal or otherwise! Please practice communicating your yeses and no’s!

ACCESSIBILITY

Self-reliance is important, but it’s not as important as accessibility and community.
