LancsCAN Lunch & Learn - Arts & Culture
Need help?
Arts and culture aren’t just forms of expression—they’re tools for change. They bring climate issues to life in ways that data alone can’t, helping people feel the urgency of this crisis deep down. By telling stories, sparking imagination, and inspiring hope, artists help us envision a sustainable future and unite communities in the fight to protect our planet.
Join us for another online 'Lunch & learn' session for the Lancashire Climate Action Network (LancsCAN), where we'll hear from nature and wildlife organisations working to support healthy ecosystems in Lancashire. Our speakers are: Darren Leadson, Education and Inclusion Manager at More Music, who will talk about the power of music in bringing people together and highlighting issues. We also have Usma Raziq from Super Slow Way, who is using her experience in conflict transformation to bring about better collaboration between communities and artists for positive change.
As always there will be opportunities for Q&A, and for networking and sharing your news at the end of the presentations.
The aim of these events is to allow members to showcase what they’re doing, spread the word about upcoming opportunities, and support peer-to-peer learning. We also hope they will strengthen the network through interaction and help build the LancsCAN community.
