We are delighted to invite you to The Big Conversation 2, a flagship Lancashire-wide stakeholder event marking the first anniversary of the Get Lancashire Working Plan.
Hosted by the Lancashire Skills Hub, Integrated Care Board and Department for Work Pensions, this event will bring together colleagues from health, local government, employment and skills, the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector, and other key partners to reflect on progress, strengthen collaboration, and agree priorities for the year ahead.
The event will feature inspiring speakers, interactive discussions, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and the chance to help shape Lancashire's future work and health agenda.
Speakers include:
- Dame Patricia Hewitt – former Secretary of State for Health. Author of the Health Work and Well-being, Caring for our future. A strategy for the health and well-being of working age people.
- Dan Riddle -Supported Sir Charlie Mayfield’s independent review looking into the role of employers in addressing economic inactivity.
- Ben Harrison – Director of the Work Foundation at Lancaster University.
What we'll be focusing on:
- Reviewing progress of the Get Lancashire Working Plan
- Identifying key priorities and opportunities for the year ahead
- Strengthening partnership working across the system
- Agreeing practical actions and commitments to drive improvement
