LU Leipzig Ringvorlesung - Through Different Lenses: Comparing AI-Generated Imagery and Press Photography in Visual War

At Lancaster University Leipzig, we believe research should be shared beyond academia. That’s why our researchers present their latest cutting-edge projects in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand for everyone. These presentations are free and open to all—a chance to broaden your horizons and discover new perspectives. The talks will be delivered in English.

To help us with planning, please register in advance. If the lecture hall reaches capacity, priority will be given to registered attendees. The event will consist of a one hour lecture and a get together afterwards.

At this event, Dr.Yi Xu will present her resarch on: "Authenticity in the Age of Synthographs: Press Photography and Generative Imagery in War Representation"
