Workshop Synopsis: Marie Taylor, Owner/Operator of True North Preservation, a window and door restoration company based out of St. Louis, will guide participants through the wood window restoration process. Participants will learn a little background on the history of wood windows and their structural components, which will then be followed by a hands-on session where participants can practice techniques and get comfortable with the tools of the trade. Safety and best practices will be explored, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and get one-on-one guidance from a window restoration pro. It is recommended that participants wear clothing that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.
